The next day Elaine took us to the ancient city of San Gimignano. Back in the day... there were a lot of "bad men" running around. so to protect themselves the citizens built large towers. When the "bad men" would ride into town they would lock themselves up in their towers. Today the city is a must see when visiting the Tuscany region.
