In June we returned to the Florda Keys. We had been there in 1999
with the Coulsons for a short trip. This time The Eyrichs went along.
We flew to West Palm Beach and drove a couple of hours to Key Largo.
We had a nice sea side lunch at Snappers. Cat Man loves Snappers.
Dan had always wanted to try out scuba diving. So he took a resort course and made four dives.
We dove twice in Marathon Key. The next day, we dove twice at
John Pennekamp State Park on
Key Largo. The diving at Key Largo was fantastic.
One day we rented a pontoon boat and drove around Marathon Key. It was a beautiful day.
After lunch we stopped and swam at a sand bar.
We ate some great sea food and saw some
breath taking sunsets. No one got sun burned, no one got arrested, and no one got a tattoo.
I guess the trip was a success.
