Juneau is the capital of Alaska. You can only get to Juneau by boat or plane. We went on a whale watching trip and visited the Mendenhall Glacier.


Just one editorial about the trip. In hind sight I would not recommend the whale watching/glacier excersion. Later on the voyage we saw lots of whales and glaciers right off the ship.

I would suggest finding something else to do in Juneau.
