Graduation Day!!!!!
December 1999

Scott graduated Dec 19th, from the University of Illinois with two degrees! He has a BS in Biology and a BS in Chemistry. He graduated in 4 1/2 years, but considering the two degrees, and transferring schools, I think he did GREAT!! Way to go son.

If you remember we got Paul a special gift for his graduation, so I had a lot of pressure to come up with a great gift for Scott. Scott has always loved the outdoors. He loves to hunt and fish, and always make a special effort to get home for our annual deer hunt. He loves being in the woods.

When we hunt we use shotguns that I have inherited from various relatives. They are OK, but they are not really designed for deer hunting. So for Scott's graduation gift we got him a Remington 860 Wingmaster 12 gauge shotgun. It has two barrels. One of the barrels is specifically designed for deer hunting. He was thrilled.

Scott and Leo

We had a great weekend. On Saturday night we took the boys and a couple of their friends over to Indiana to a great steak restraunt. We stuffed ourselves. The Leonard, Griffin, and the Kings joined us on Sunday for a great brunch. The graduation ceremony was Sunday afternoon.
It was a great day.

Right after graduation - Christmas, and again I want to get a great gift for the boys . . . well the University of Illinois football team had a great year and made a bowl game (the MICROM.COM Bowl), in Miami. So for their Christmas gift we hooked them up with airplane tickets, hotel, and game tickets. The spent 3 days in Miami during December. A friend went with them and they had a great time.
